The Greyhound first appeared in Harry Craddock's legendary Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930, combining gin with grapefruit juice in a simple, elegant recipe. By the 1940s, it had become a staple at Greyhound bus terminal restaurants across America — earning its namesake.

While the post-war years saw vodka replace gin in many versions, Rivergreen returns to the cocktail's original roots with premium gin and real Rio Red grapefruit juice — the way it was meant to be.

About Rivergreen Cocktails: From Doctor to Distiller. Rivergreen Cocktails was born in the summer of 2020 when I — a full-time OB/GYN and mother of three — found an unexpected spark of creativity during the pandemic. I noticed a shift from malt-based to spirit-based ready-to-drinks and saw an opportunity to craft premium gin cocktails made with real fruit juices, natural sweeteners, and a strong ABV.
